Why it works here

Intent, attention and a page built for the creative to be seen.

Design intent, not idle browsing

Nobody downloads a font by accident. Visitors arrive with a project in hand, which makes tools, stock assets, hosting, print, courses and software a natural fit.

A desktop audience

Design work happens on large screens. Almost all sessions are desktop, so wide formats such as the 970×250 billboard and the sticky 300×600 half page are shown at full size.

Room to be seen

Few units per page, each with reserved space so the layout never jumps. Ads are labelled, never overlay content, never autoplay sound. Your creative competes with nothing.

Ad units and where they appear

Six fixed-size positions. The diagram shows the unit's place on the page; sizes are exact pixels.

Billboard

970×250

Top of every page, full width. On the home page it sits between the search box and the category chips, the first thing a visitor sees.

Brand campaigns and launches. The largest canvas on the site.

In-feed card

336×280

Inside every font grid as the 5th card, then every 5 cards. Home, categories, tags, search and popular pages.

The highest-volume unit: every listing page carries up to four of them, labelled and sized like a font card.

Half page

300×600

Right rail of font detail, download and search pages. Sticky: it stays in view while the visitor scrolls.

Longest time in view on the site. Ideal for rich creatives and video.

Leaderboard

728×90

Directly above the download panel on font pages and under the countdown card on download pages.

Seen at the decision moment, right before the download button is pressed.

Detail rectangle

336×280

Font detail page, next to the font facts (format, license, category).

Contextual: the visitor is reading about a specific typeface. Category targeting works best here.

Content rectangle

336×280

Font detail page, beside the "where it works best" use-case cards below the description.

Deep in the page: reached by engaged readers, priced accordingly.

Below 760px every position collapses to a single responsive rectangle (336×280 or 300×250), so one set of creatives covers desktop and mobile.

Units by page type

Creative specs and measurement

What to send, and what you get back.

Accepted creatives

  • Images — JPG, PNG, WebP or animated GIF at the exact unit size. Keep files under 150 KB (GIF under 1 MB) so the page stays fast.
  • Video — MP4 (H.264) or WebM, up to 15 seconds, muted, with a poster image. Loops optionally. Keep it under 2 MB.
  • Third-party tags — an iframe or script tag from your ad server. Tags load inside the unit; we allow your domains in our security policy.
  • Landing URL — any https address. Clicks open in a new tab with a sponsored link attribute.

Targeting, scheduling, reporting

  • Category targeting — show a creative only on one font category, on both listings and font pages.
  • Scheduling — start and end dates set in advance; the unit reverts automatically when the campaign ends.
  • Share of voice — when a unit is shared, rotation is weighted and guaranteed by contract.
  • Viewable impressions — counted only after 50% of the creative has been on screen; clicks are counted on our redirect. A report is sent at the end of the campaign, or weekly for longer runs.

How a campaign runs

Four steps, usually inside one business day.

  1. 1
    Tell us the goal

Product, audience, dates and budget range. We reply with a proposal: units, positions and the rate card.

  2. 2
    Send the creative

Files or a tag, plus the landing URL. We check size, weight and the policies below.

  3. 3
    Go live

The creative takes over its unit on the agreed date. You get the live URL to verify.

  4. 4
    Report

Viewable impressions, clicks and click-through rate, per unit and per period.

Kept short on purpose. They protect visitors, which protects your results.

Questions advertisers ask

Who visits raFont?

People who are about to use a typeface: graphic and web designers, developers, marketers, print shops, students and small business owners. Almost all traffic is desktop, which is where design work happens.

What ad formats do you accept?

Static images (JPG, PNG, WebP), animated GIF, short MP4 or WebM video (muted, autoplay, optional poster) and third-party tags such as an iframe or script from your ad server. Every unit has a fixed size listed on this page.

How are impressions counted?

We count viewable impressions only: an impression is recorded when at least half of the creative has been on screen. Clicks are counted through a redirect on our side, so both numbers are ours, not estimates.

Can I target a font category?

Yes. Any unit can be limited to one category (for example Script or Serif fonts), so your creative only appears on those font pages and listings.

How long does it take to go live?

Usually within one business day after we receive the final creative and the landing URL. Campaigns can be scheduled with a start and end date in advance.

How is pricing set?

Flat-rate by unit and duration, weekly or monthly, with a share-of-voice guarantee when a unit is shared. Ask for the current rate card with the form at the bottom of this page.

Do you accept sponsored articles or links?

We offer a sponsored feature block at the bottom of font pages (image, title, text and a button). Links in sponsored features are marked rel="sponsored" as search engines require.
